The Hanukkah Tour 2017 is over!

A year ago I went traveling to South America. December brought Hanukkah but we didn't brought Hanukiah. So at the end of the world (as it called) we built one. Piece of wood and 9 caps did the job. We carried the Hanukiah through the mountains, villages and cities lighting the candles everyday. At the last day of Hanukkah our hostel manger even made sofganiut for us. Holiday I won't forget!

This year I'll travel around Pensacola and I'll light the candles at different place everyday! Join me if you can! Happy Holidays!

Cafe Israel

We will kick off with a pre-holiday candle lighting presenting the Hanukkah Tour! Then our Cafe Israel program will talk about Israeli life. Our own Israelis will speak about their experiences In Israel, and your questions will be their guidelines for the presentation! Come at 6 PM for dinner. The program begins at 6:30 PM.

I had great time at CLA teaching the kids about Hanukkah and the amazing dreidel game!

Gulf Breeze Fire Department

First candle will be lit at the fire department in honor of the Heroes for Life Organization.

Follow with latkes making party for the fire fighters by the "Jewish Mother", Lori Ripps.

Special night of Glass Blowing with our youth group, making some presents for Hanukkah!

Third Candle in honor of Save a Child’s Heart Organization.

Just for Hanukkah, Gulf Breeze High School bought a Hanukiah to light with our kids!

Temple Beth El Shabbat Hanukkah Celebration

Fourth Candle in honor of the Art Joy Love Organization.

Shabbat Hanukkah Celebration Friday, December 15, 6:00 pm. Grab your hanukkiah and join us in the sanctuary for a music-filled Hanukkah Shabbat service. Worship will be led by Rabbi Joel, Sonia Yanovsky, Victoria Adamenko and will feature participation by students from the School for Jewish Living.

Home Depot Hanukiah Making

Kids (and adults!) are invited to make their own Hanukiah at a special morning with PJF and Home Depot! every kid will get a Hanukiah kit and apron to keep! Together with Home Depot instructor they will build it from scratch!
